A Brand New Look

It's been a long time coming but after several months of testing different looks followed by several more months of planning and programming the new David Tyler website has arrived! Since DavidTyler.com first launched in 1994 it's been a personal project for David. "It's funny to say this now in 2010 and in this forum, but I was an early believer in the ability of the internet to bring people together, not just in the business-to-business sense but in the true global sense", Mr. Tyler said at an online press conference via Skype. "I believe the key to my success online has been my constant search for newer and better ways to do business." David Tyler credits Ed Lacomb, President of Digital Sound & Video, with introducing him to the possibilities of .MP3 for his business. "At the time I was actually sending my clients .WAV files over a dial-up connection...crazy! When I met Ed and he told me about .MP3 it was a God-send!" With the new website comes a new technology called DirectXS-LIVE a companion to his DirectXS (ftp) server which he uses to deliver finished audio files to clients. The difference is that DirectXS-LIVE as the name says, will allow clients to receive audio live to their studio. It's similar to ISDN but there is no additional equipement or special phone lines required, the session takes place over the internet live and "in better than CD quality sound", he is quick to add.
