About/ who I am

The Communicator

Armed with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Concordia University in Montréal David continues his 20+ year radio broadcasting career which began at CJFM and then CFQR (in Montréal). A year was spent on TV at The Weather Nework (1997-98) as a weather presenter. In 1995 he launched his company using his pseudonym David Tyler Communications, Inc. where he continues to service clients around the globe as a signature voice (and consultant) for TV and radio, a voice for commercials, video games, cartoons and documentaries. And now as a small business marketing coach under the banner: BigShots Marketing

The Spiritual Explorer

A lifelong quest into the "nature of being" has brought him to an inescapable conclusion: consciousness is the ground of all being. The implications of that supposition are so far reaching that nothing is untouched. Science, religion, mythology and even our history must be re-examined from this new perspective in order to have a greater and more acurate understanding of who we are and what we are here on the Earth for. Broadcasting

David worked for Standard Radio (now Astral Radio) from 1987-2001 as a Producer/Announcer for CJFM (FM96, MIX96) covering all dayparts and then to Corus Entertainment from 2001-2008 as an Announcer and eventually as the Imaging Director. It was as the Imaging Director for Q92 that he developed the marketing principles that he uses today as a small business marketing coach (BigShots Marketing).

Marketing

David has been working casually with small business owners for several years but has only just officially hung out his shingle as BigShots Marketing. His BigShots Marketing Sytem for Small Business was develop over his time as the radio imaging director of Q92 in Montreal where his job was to market the radio staion only using brief prerecorded message that were inserted between songs. A challenge that he relished!
